The proof is in the pudding, people. Do I want this $600 full-price Pottery Barn coffee table on top of a metal stand or my exact replica junk store buy for $60 WITH some HISTORY thrown in? Not a very hard decision. I can do without the legs on the coffee table for a $540 in total savings. I cannot tell all of you how validated this made me feel. You never know what you'll find at those antique stores around your town. It's a great fall weekend to get out and look around.
