The rule used to be match your jewelry. Now, it is just the opposite. The more mixed up you can be, the better. On any given day, I'm wearing a black watch, red bracelet, brown bracelet, gold ring, and silver earrings. When your jewelry is overly matched, it can look a little overdone. I recommend not buying matching bracelet, earring, and necklace combinations. These put your style into a rut, and you don't look to other combinations that exist in your collection. On another note, jewelry storage is such a pain. I saw this pin on pinterest and loved it! I need a drawer with tiny cups for all of my gems. How cute! Thanks Martha, don't you always know just what we need?
